Spiritual Direction

Gina is currently in pursuing a certificate in Spiritual Direction from the Institute for Ministry Formation at St. Vincent Seminary in Latrobe, PA.

What is spiritual direction?

A spiritual director helps one grow in relationship with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, specifically through a life of prayer.

  • In spiritual direction, the directee shares what they are experiencing in relationship with God.

  • The role of the director is to listen, walk alongside, pray, and encourage.

  • Both people are listening for God and noticing where He is showing up.

Meetings are offered for individuals in-person or online (if needed) once every 4-6 weeks.

MRC does not accept (or bill) health insurance. However, MRC can provide an invoice statement with insurance billing codes that you may submit to your health carrier to consider for reimbursement.

Note: Insurance carriers often require a diagnosis before reimbursing. With that knowledge, some people may choose not to file for coverage in order to prevent a diagnosis being added to their medical records.
